Hey Glowstickers, it's the time of year for showing love! In celebration of Valentines Day this year we're holding the first annual Glowsticking.com Valentines Day Project.
So what's involved in this project? It's quite simple. Make a glowsticking video using only red or white glowsticks, or a combination of both. (Here's a chance for you handle spinners to use a themed color combo!) In addition to just making a plain old video, add a message that shows how much you love Glowsticking.com and the art of Glowsticking.
Post your videos up as normal in the video section, but don't forget to put a link to them in this thread! If there are enough submissions by Valentines Day I'll make a much larger variation of the picture you see above using frames from the videos that were made.
So dig out those dusty old red and white glowsticks you rarely use and show your love for GSC! And though it's not quite the 14th yet, Happy Valentines Day!

Yup, looking like I'm not in this one.
That's exactly the spot I'm in.
I just have a few oranges laying around.
And I'm not about to go out and microwave a pair of white sticks due to the fact that I can't be trusted with a microwave. >.>
But ah well, it's not like I can release a video right now.
My laptop's in California being repaired and I don't like the idea of using a university computer for GSC stuffs.
Although I suppose if I really wanted to make effort, I could use LSmaker and other misc. programs to change my oranges to white or something.
But I think that's another video altogether.
Hrm. Jedi Collaboration? XD

Hey gs.c! Here's my valentines day project vid. Its not my best, due to freshly led sticks(my red was so sensitive..:/)and i was just trying to get a video in really quick...ok. Glowsticking is my scape goat and a way to cope with this world we live in,, all of my stress and problems that weigh me down, feel nonexistent when i have a knot between my fingertips and what feels like my own energy inside of a 6" piece of plastic. In the moment it doesn't even feel like im spinning & dancing around. Its feels as if the Earth is spinning & dancing around me, and I have the force, ya kno. *_* And our community is so family oriented, so willing to host area meet ups and practice sessions to grow better, teach, and expand our passion and art with one and another. Feels like a family away from family. Well happy Valentines day GS.c :-) and big ups to the Texas stringers!!-Austin area

Loved it man, that was awesome! Your room even seemed to have the valentines color scheme going on in it lol. What was the song you used? I liked it, it was really chill.

Sorry it took so long, and it's kind of a short clip.
Anyway..
Glowstringing is a passion of mine. I've always been someone who enjoys tactile activities and such, like yoyo-ing and the like. Once I discovered that these things could be put together with music, my life was basically changed. Glowstringing has been a great source of stress relief, and something that always lightens my spirits when I'm down. It's given me more excuses to get out and do something, instead of just sitting in my sadness at home. Which is something I've always needed.
Glowsticking.Com is definitely the thing that keeps me stringing. The community is made up of some of the most incredible people I have ever talked to. Even as a newcomer, I was accepted right away. The people here truly understand rave culture and what it means to be a kind person.
