The only way to get comfortable with wraps is to practice them. Look at some videos by FindingDenno. He has a really slow smooth style. Wraps don't need to be fast. Also, take a look at Wraps 101. Great intro in wraps including some great tips on how to practice. Do you only mess up when doing combos or wraps in general? If it is with combos just keep practicing. Do one arm at a time and then put it together PM me if you need help

basically what he said. and yeah lol the slower approach would be to i guess spin a little slower. if you have to do it one arm at a time and you'll eventually put it together smoothly. watch videos and slow them down if you have to in order to get ideas for combos and be creative. i guess main point being, just go slower and keep practicing if need be.

Watch melvenorc12's shotgun combos at x2 speed (IMG: http://www.glowsticking.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin2.gif) Just kidding. The best way to learn is by examples. Watch the wrap combos of stringers in slow motion. Put the clip into windows movie maker and watch it frame by frame. Pay attention to one hand first and then pay attention to what the other hand is doing. You will start to see the individual pieces come together. Use those are starting points for inspiring your own combos.

For going slower and learning some moves I found instead of learning them with sticks, learn with something heavier. Potentially if you have more weight at the end of the string you don't need to spin it as fast to keep it moving. Sounds odd, I know, but if you have more weight you don't need as much speed to keep the correct string tension. Once you have the motions though it's just a matter of switching to sticks and going a little faster. (IMG: http://www.glowsticking.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Get comfortable with transitioning from one wrap to any other wrap. Know which way the sticks are spinning and figure out where it's possible to wrap and just screw around with it until you come up with something you haven't done before

(IMG: http://www.glowsticking.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) jk. Just take it one hand at a time. Like if you hit your arm, then see where the next place you can hit is. Also learn crossover wraps. (IMG: http://www.glowsticking.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) They "open up your combos" -KniveZ(or Zodiac fdsugjfsa)

First off, try finding a comfortable pace to how fast or slow you can spin the sticks. Next off, try thinking of different areas to wrap and do it... it may take time to get comfortable with certain wraps, but it will eventually build in with muscle memory and get easier over time...
and remember, practice really does make perfect

ok ill reply with seriousness, i started glowstringing off a wrap based inspiration, if that made sense. what im trying to say is, i wrap alot, and every day i try to think of new combos to do. first, get at least a bit of control of your weaker hand. since shotguns can increase the variety of wraps, just practice one hand shotguns with each hand seperately. for example, just sit down, and tie the strings to ur hand, then start shot gunning, than repeat with the other hand, until u can shotgun with each hand at the same time. than for an easy wrap, shotgun wrap 1 leg, while normal wrapping the other string on the opposite side of the leg. im pretty sure this was hard to understand, and it is, ill try to elaborate more clearly later. maybe ill submit a video when i come back from san francisco to show u how much of a wrap whore i am
