I was really stoked and busy at getting my one year vid started and what not but I've been stringing SO much I honestly don't do homework or even go to school for that matter. I'm a senior this year and I'm already behind for graduation. I'm not goin to drop strings completely but I need to use the time to do my schoolshit than stringing for hours on end everyday. My actual year of glowstringing is Feb. 14th. It could take me a month or 2 months to get all my stuff done and I probably won't be as active as I have been.... but after I'm in line to graduate I'll be back on GSC and stringing for hours and hours.. To sum it all up my year "video" won't be made and out fer awhile.. I need to "go to work before I can have fun" sorta speak. I'll definitely be back it'll just be a feww. I just want to thank everyone for treating me the way everyone has, if I hadn't joined GSC I would have never truly grasped what glowsticking was all about, it would have been just a fad; something to do when i was bored and there was nothing to do. But now it's real, I'd rather string and session more than anything; waking up everyday and starting right where I left off the night before. I'm hooooked haha. Thanks GSC

Don't even stress man. People have become less active for a lot more meaningless reasons, or even left.
Finishing school is a smart decision, I back it 100%.

While I would never want anyone to stop glowsticking completely, we all have times where we need to chill ax on something we love very much and take a little break from it. A personal leave I guess you could say (IMG:http://www.glowsticking.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

ANYWAY, what I'm saying is good luck finishing school. Thats definitely an important step to having a successful life. Just don't forget about GS.C completely (IMG:http://www.glowsticking.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Yeah man for sure finish school its kinda a life determining factor haha....As much as you are obsessed with stringing I'm sure you'll live to string again...Actually I know you will ha. But good luck with school homie, I know you'll get that shit done and we'll all see your year video and just shit. :0

I agree with everyone here.

School and work is more important than sticks. Its tough to give up for a bit, but it makes it that much sweeter when you get good grades and have nothing to worry about. That and your folks would be happy to see that your still focused on school. Good luck!!

[ rant]
I don't know why everyone thinks that there are time periods to videos. There is no requisite for when you release a video. No one cares about if it's 6 months, 1 year, 2 years, 18 months, or whatever it is. Release videos when YOU want to, not because you think there's some necessity to release a video. That way you can take your time, make the video that you want to make, and not just something thrown together because you think you have to release a video just because it's been a certain amount of time since your last one. If real life gets in the way, good, let real life get in the way, real life is good. Do what you need to do to do well in real life. Education and your life is far more important any day of the week over glowsticking. [/ rant]

Put out videos whenever you want, you don't have to stick to the whole, 'one year' tag or anything like that. Stick to the classic set up of a video put a date on it, your SN and you'll be good to go.

Do well in real life. It doesn't do you any good if you're living at home and you're 30 years old because you failed school because of a silly glowstick back in your senior year. Get good grades, go to college, make lots of money.

Priority # 1 should be your education. (said the man at a dead-end job struggling to survive) I'm not preaching but trust me as someone who didn't go to college and decided to work right of HS, life will be so much easier if you have your education. Glowsticking will always be there waiting for you afterwards. I mean I'm 30 and I still string on a regular basis.

Hey, just go for it man.

I'm a second semester senior too. Major issues concentrating, but you gotta get past high school first.:P

Good luck.
